Video: Nikol Pashinyan Responds to Vladimir Putin
Nikol Pashinyan addressed the question of a referendum on joining the EU or the EAEU. In a conversation with reporters, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that he does not see the necessity for holding a referendum on the EU or EAEU at this time.
Referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement, Nikol Pashinyan mentioned that this issue was discussed at a working level with the Russian president. According to the head of government, he stated that as long as there is no de jure or de facto necessity for making a choice, such a question will not be placed on the agenda.
Pashinyan also added that he disagrees with the term “apahrzhan,” as diplomatic relations are sometimes confused with marriage, which he does not agree with.
