Car Overturns, One Injured

On May 11, at 05:21 AM, the Ararat regional operational management center received a report of a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Eraskh highway; rescuers were needed at the scene.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the site. It was found that on the 21st kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, an 'Opel' vehicle had veered off the road and overturned in the adjacent fields; the driver was trapped inside the car.

The rescuers de-energized the vehicle, shut off the gas cylinder valve, and extracted the driver from the car using special equipment before handing him over to an ambulance. The injured driver was hospitalized.
