Lukashenko's Congratulatory Message to the President of Armenia

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has congratulated foreign leaders on the occasion of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, as reported by Lukashenko's press service.

According to the statement, congratulatory messages were sent to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the first President of that country Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow and the national leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslahat, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, as well as the peoples of Moldova and Ukraine.

“Addressing the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the sacred day of May 9 is forever inscribed in the destinies of the Soviet peoples, and the greatness of the heroes of the homeland does not fade away even decades later.

The President of Belarus expressed his belief that the friendship of peoples, which has withstood the severe trials of war, remains an immutable foundation for strengthening friendly relations and expanding comprehensive cooperation today,” the statement from the President of Belarus' press service said.
