According to Reuters, this information is based on earlier statements made by the leaders of Cambodia, Israel, and Pakistan regarding the nomination of the U.S. president in this category. At the same time, it is emphasized that verification of the data is impossible as the list of nominees is kept confidential.
In total, 208 individuals and 79 organizations have been included in the nominations. The name of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate for 2026 will be announced on October 9, with the official awarding ceremony scheduled for December 10.
