The News of Transferring the Village of Jiliza to Azerbaijan is False: Nazeli Baghdasaryan

“A number of media outlets have circulated information claiming that an agreement has been reached within the framework of the demarcation process, according to which Armenia will transfer the village of Jiliza in the enlarged community of Alaverdi to Azerbaijan,” wrote Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan on her Facebook page.

“Any statement, thought, or ‘information’ regarding the intention, plan, or agreement to transfer any part of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia to any other country cannot correspond to reality by nature. Therefore, as we have previously done, we deny, deny, and will continue to deny any publication of this nature due to their fictitious nature.”
