LEAKED RECORDING: Where Do Donations Go, What Is He Doing on Television? - Anti-Corruption Committee

The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has released a recording, stating: “Factual data has been obtained regarding the presidential decree on the appointment of the next National Assembly elections, which will enter into force on February 7, 2026. Under the conditions of a legislative ban on conducting charity, during the nationwide elections, under the guise of charity, cash was provided in one case without compensation by a member of the 'Strong Armenia' party with the assistance of another person in March 2026. In another case, services were promised under preferential conditions.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the relevant article of the Armenian Criminal Code concerning this case, and public prosecution has been launched against two individuals who have been arrested.

The Anti-Corruption Committee once again urges to refrain from criminal behavior that violates the legislative ban on charity, and citizens are called to avoid involvement in electoral crimes or any suspicious actions related to them.” More details in the video.
