Searches Conducted at Several Locations in Yerevan
According to a statement made today by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, searches are being conducted at 20 addresses in Yerevan in collaboration with the Investigative Committee. Law enforcement agencies have not provided further details.
As reported by “Hraparak”, these searches, taking place within the framework of a criminal case, are related to an investigation concerning the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
According to the publication, the searches are being conducted at the residences of local authorities—individuals known for their involvement in conflicts, criminal cases, and scandals.
It is worth noting that special police operations are currently underway in various parts of the capital.
In response to a query from Auroranews, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, confirmed that the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are carrying out searches at approximately 20 addresses in Yerevan in conjunction with the Investigative Committee.
