Vanik Ohanyan Elected as Head of the National Assembly Health Committee
The National Assembly's permanent health committee has elected Vanik Ohanyan, a deputy from the 'Civil Contract' faction, as its new head. His candidacy was proposed by the ruling faction.
Out of 107 deputies, 64 participated in the voting. According to the results, 64 deputies voted in favor of Ohanyan's candidacy, while none voted against.
“The decision has been made, we wish you success, Mr. Ohanyan, in this important position,” said Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, addressing Ohanyan.
It is noted that the previous head of the National Assembly's health committee was Hripsimeh Hunanian. Earlier this year, she submitted her resignation from the position of head of the permanent health committee and announced that she would not be included in the proportional list of the 'Civil Contract' party in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
