Security Council Meeting Amid Developments in Iran and the Middle East
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a meeting of the Security Council, attended by President Vahagn Khachaturyan, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, head of the National Assembly's Civil Contract faction Hayk Konjoryan, and chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee Sargis Khandanyan.
The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Kristine Grigoryan, presented a comprehensive report on the events surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran and developments in the Middle East.
Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan reported on the activities of the inter-agency working group established at the direction of the Prime Minister.
As a result of the meeting, the Prime Minister issued the necessary instructions. Participants expressed deep regret over the unfortunate developments, extended their condolences regarding the casualties, and emphasized the urgent need for the establishment of peace.
