Extensive Renovation Underway on Komitas Avenue: Tigran Avinyan

The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has announced that extensive renovation works are taking place on Komitas Avenue. As part of the project, all sidewalks are being renovated, electrical wires are being relocated underground, and trees that have lost their vitality are being replaced with new plantings.

The Mayor also emphasized the need for clear and regulated solutions for the land segments in the area. “If the soil layer remains too free and there is no bush formation planned, I am against that. However, if appropriate logic and normative transition are provided, I do not see a problem, and that section can be fully authorized for other uses,” he stated.
