Trump Shamelessly Called Them Enemies, Medvedev
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has referred to several NATO countries as enemies of the U.S. in his political rhetoric, leaving them "simply astonished," stated Dmitry Medvedev, President of the United Russia party and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.
"Trump has divided everyone into two columns, saying, 'These are our friends, we work with them, we lower their tariffs. And these are our enemies,'" Medvedev remarked during a meeting with an expert group preparing a public program for United Russia.
"And he did it so shamelessly by calling them enemies, including some members of the North Atlantic Alliance, that they were simply stunned," he added.
