Iran Supports Peaceful Resolution of Tensions with the United States: Pezeshkian
President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran is in favor of a peaceful resolution of tensions with the United States and is not interested in military confrontation. He made this announcement during a phone conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
According to Pezeshkian, Iran has never sought war and does not seek it now. He emphasized that armed conflict will not benefit Iran, the United States, or the entire region, highlighting the necessity of initiating diplomatic processes.
Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, declared that Tehran is ready for dialogue with the United States. In a post on social media platform X, he noted that despite the "artificially inflated military rhetoric," structural preparations for negotiations are ongoing.
