Alen Simonian Raises the Issue of Prisoners at NATO
The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska on December 18. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as regional developments and topics of mutual interest.
They also addressed the progress of joint programs with NATO, emphasizing the importance of continued and effective cooperation.
During the meeting, Alen Simonian drew the Deputy Secretary General's attention to the issue of prisoners in Azerbaijan, individuals held illegally, and those considered missing, highlighting the urgency and humanitarian nature of the matter.
