Identity of Individuals Who Committed Violence Against Former MP Revealed
The Armenian Investigative Committee's Yerevan investigative department has uncovered the identity of individuals involved in a violent incident against former MP M.H. The investigation into this case was conducted with extensive measures, including operational and investigative activities in collaboration with the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Specifically, during the pre-investigation stage, it was established that the act of violence against M.H. was premeditated. Preparations included obtaining a vehicle and fake license plates. Following these arrangements, the alleged perpetrators ambushed and pursued M.H., executing their intent.
Based on the evidence gathered, public criminal proceedings have been initiated against H.H., S.K., and H.H., under Article 171, Part 2, Clause 5 of the Criminal Code (causing minor bodily harm by a group of individuals), Article 297, Part 2, Clause 1 (hooliganism committed by a group), and Article 458, Part 2 (using fake registration plates by a group). Additionally, proceedings have been initiated against G.P. under Article 46-171, Part 2, Clause 5 (aiding in causing minor bodily harm) and Article 46-297, Part 2, Clause 1 (aiding in hooliganism), as well as Article 458, Part 2. A.B. is also facing charges under similar aiding provisions.
Decisions have been made to arrest these individuals to present them to court. The preliminary investigation into the criminal case continues.
Notice: An individual accused of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court verdict in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code.
