Today 5 Armenian Athletes Compete for Quarterfinal Spots in Boxing World Championship

Five Armenian athletes will fight for quarterfinal spots today, December 9, at the Boxing World Championship in Dubai. The Armenian Boxing Federation reports that in the 5:00 PM match, 54 kg competitor Davit Yeghoyan, 63.5 kg fighter Narek Hovhannisyan, and 86 kg boxer Rafael Hovhannisyan will enter the ring. In the 9:00 PM match, 54 kg Jiayr Sargsyan and 57 kg Rudol Garboyan will also compete. It’s worth noting that Armenia already has 6 participants in the quarterfinals.
