Malkhas Amoyan Listed Among the Best Greco-Roman Wrestlers
The International Wrestling Federation's press service is selecting the best Greco-Roman wrestler of the year. Included in the list of nominees is Malkhas Amoyan, the bronze medalist of the Paris Olympic Games, double world champion, and four-time European champion in the 77 kg weight class, as reported by armsport.am.
In 2025, Amoyan became the world and European champion and also won a gold medal at the international tournament held in Poland.
Besides Amoyan, competitors include Iranian athletes Mohammadi Saravi, Sayed Esmaili, Gholamreza Farokhin (all three from Iran), and Aytzhan Khalmakhanov (Uzbekistan).
