Tragic Car Accident on Armavir-Gyumri Highway: Trucks Collide

On October 21, at 20:46, the crisis management center of the Shirak Regional Rescue Service received a report that an accident had occurred near the village of Baghravan, with a citizen trapped and requiring the assistance of rescuers.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has announced that two fire-rescue teams from the regional rescue service have been dispatched to the scene. It was determined that on the 43rd kilometer of the Armavir-Gyumri highway, a passenger vehicle of the make 'Gaz-3110' collided with a truck of the make 'Gaz-53'. The truck hit the iron guardrail and partially left the roadway, resulting in a complete blockage of the road section in both directions.
