Video: This is an obvious crime. Those responsible must be prosecuted. Daniel Ioannisyan
This is an obvious crime, and we will file a report about the crime in the morning and fight for those responsible to be prosecuted. This was stated by Daniel Ioannisyan, coordinator of programs at the "Civil Society Platform" NGO, on his Facebook page.
Journalist Lia Sarsyan published a video and wrote: “One day before the official election campaign in Vagharsapat, a 'charity' event was organized in the village of Dogs in the consolidated community of Hov, attended by the ruling elite of the Armavir region, including the candidate for the mayor of Vagharsapat, Argishti Mekhakyan from the My Step Alliance.”
“The 'charity' event, during which gifts were distributed to the village children and one child was given a sum of $10,000, was organized by Ruben Manukyan, a friend of the community's ruling party leader, Lyudvik Yailoyan. It is noteworthy that the gifts are being distributed by the 'benefactor' and the second on the Council list of the Ruling Party, Lyudvik Yailoyan. Tables have been set up in the village, music is playing, and a festive atmosphere is being created. Argishti Mekhakyan took the stage and thanked the benefactor, announcing that the inauguration of the football field would take place tomorrow,” she added.
