Paruyr Hovhannisyan Withdrawn from Position of Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe
The President of the Republic of Armenia has issued a decree withdrawing Paruyr Hovhannisyan from his position as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe. This information has been confirmed by the Presidential Administration.
"The decision has been based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister," the administration notes.
Hovhannisyan was appointed to this position by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on June 14, 2016, replacing Armen Papikyan.
