I Have Given the Bribe, but Whether It Was Passed to Kocharian, I Cannot Say: Silva Hambardzumyan
The Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court, presided over by Judge Davit Grigoryan, is considering the appeal filed by the defense of former Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan against the reopening of his case regarding receiving bribes of particularly large amounts.
Outside the court, in a conversation with journalists, Hambardzumyan stated that she has never given conflicting testimonies. She declared that no new names will be announced, as all names have already been published.
Hambardzumyan recounted that she had confronted Vardan Oskanian, but this time it was not in the context of the bribery case.
When asked what new names might be disclosed in the near future, she replied that there are no new names, stating, “What has happened has already happened.”
Regarding the case of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, she mentioned: “I gave a bribe to Samvel Mayrapetyan; whether it was passed to Kocharian, I cannot say.”
