Lilia Manukhina Arrested in Armenia for Distributing Anti-War Flyers in Russia
Lilia Manukhina, a 29-year-old Russian wanted for distributing anti-war flyers in Russia, has been arrested in Armenia, reports Civilnet. She was detained on August 30, 2025, at the request of the Russian Federation. A court has set her preliminary detention period at 40 days, which has subsequently been extended for another two months at the request of the Armenian Ministry of Justice.
According to her lawyer, Manukhina has applied for political asylum. She is currently in pretrial detention, awaiting a decision from the migration service.
