Emma Grigoryan, Representative of the 'Mother Armenia' Alliance, Taken to the Anti-Corruption Committee
Emma Grigoryan, a representative of the 'Mother Armenia' alliance, has been transferred from Gyumri to the Anti-Corruption Committee in Yerevan. This was announced by Karen Simonian, the candidate for mayor of Gyumri from the 'Mother Armenia' coalition, during a press briefing.
It is noteworthy that law enforcement and anti-corruption committee staff have been conducting a search at the office of the 'Mother Armenia' alliance in Gyumri, evidently obstructing our work, as stated by the coalition.
"We consider this an attack by the authorities against the opposition force participating in the Gyumri elections and call on the media to come to Gorqu's address, 50/4. A search was also conducted early this morning at the home of our team member Ara Voskanyan, who is dealing with organizational issues," the statement noted.
