Turkey to Speak on Behalf of Palestine at UN General Assembly
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced during a meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ankara that Turkey will speak on behalf of Palestine at the UN General Assembly starting on September 23.
Erdoğan stated that Turkey will continue to raise the Palestinian issue on all platforms. The Turkish leader emphasized that Turkey's priority is to ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to halt the humanitarian tragedy in the region.
