Former Defense Minister of Georgia Arrested
The former Defense Minister of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, has been arrested on charges of abuse of official authority and money laundering.
According to APA, referencing Georgian media, Judge Eka Barbakadze has approved the prosecution's request, selecting detention as a measure of restraint for Burchuladze. The defense previously submitted a petition for his release on bail, but the court denied the request.
