Cooperation with Russia and the USA is Important: Erdogan
After negotiations in Ankara with Vladimir Zelensky, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey values cooperation with Russia and the United States in the resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
“First and foremost, we are ready to discuss proposals with Russia that will encourage a ceasefire and pave the way for a just and lasting peace. We place great importance on our ally, the United States' involvement in that process,” he noted, summarizing the outcomes of the negotiations.
Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will continue to act as a mediator, stressing the importance of activating mechanisms for dialogue and cooperation.
