Araghchin on Negotiations with IAEA in Vienna
Iran and the IAEA are close to a new phase of bilateral cooperation. This was announced by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchin following negotiations with the IAEA held in Vienna, according to Mehr.
The minister praised the third phase of technical discussions regarding the nuclear program in Vienna, Mehr reports.
Cooperation with the Atomic Energy Agency was halted by Tehran in June after Israeli and U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear sites. Accusations from the IAEA, Israel, and the U.S. claiming that Iran is engaged in the development of a secret military nuclear program have become a key pretext for planning military operations against Iran.
