Video: The Operation of 100 New Compact Buses is Completed

The route number 97 bus (previously number 37) has hit the streets with new vehicles, marking the completion of the operation of 100 new compact buses. These buses have notably alleviated the transport issues in the city and provide the opportunity to identify and catalog existing challenges in the system, allowing for their resolution in the next phases of transport reform.

In a few months, 211 medium-capacity buses will arrive in Yerevan. It’s important to note that fares will need to be paid with 100 dram coins upon boarding these buses. In a few months, a transition to an electronic payment system will occur, which will enable the application of the latest technological opportunities.
