Implementation of the 'Trump Path' May Complicate Armenia's Relations with Russia and Iran, Dmitry Saims
The implementation of the 'Trump Path' project may complicate Armenia's relations with Russia and Iran. This viewpoint was expressed by political scientist Dmitry Saims during the 'Armenia–EAEU: Moving Forward Together' conference.
"I cannot say whether this project was conceived as anti-Russian or not, but in my opinion, it could create difficulties in the relations between Armenia and Russia. How much this corresponds to Armenia's interests is up to the will of the Armenian people," the expert noted.
Saims emphasized that from a geopolitical perspective, Armenia cannot agree to participate in the project without paying a certain price in its relations with Russia and complicating the dialogue with Moscow.
