The Renovation at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex is Vandalism: Eduard Hayrumyan
It can now be confidently and factually stated that the "renovation" currently taking place at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex is an act of vandalism. According to the contract, all stones were supposed to be numbered and removed without damage, then reinstalled, and for each square meter, the state was to pay 495,000 drams. This was stated by activist Eduard Hayrumyan on his Facebook page.
It is important to note that the government allocated around 800 million drams for the renovation of the Genocide Memorial and Museum. This was announced during a press briefing by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan.
