NATO Will Continue to Counter Russia Even After the Ukrainian Crisis Ends, Mark Rutte
The North Atlantic Alliance will continue to counter Russia even after the Ukrainian crisis comes to an end. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during a speech at a defense forum held in the Czech Republic, as reported by TASS.
“The Russian threat will not end with the conclusion of the conflict in Ukraine. NATO must and will continue to prepare to counter that,” he said.
He called on EU countries to keep increasing military production and allocate more funds towards the militarization of Europe.
Rutte emphasized that the alliance is also intending to prepare for “threats from China,” which “is producing more warships than the United States.”
