Trump and Putin Talks Renew Peace Efforts, Erdogan Says
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that the talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska have injected new energy into the search for ways to halt the war between Russia and Ukraine.
"The negotiations between Trump and Putin in Alaska have added fresh impetus to the pursuit of pathways to cease the war between Russia and Ukraine. We welcome the Alaska summit and hope that this new process, which also involves Ukrainian President Zelensky, will lay a solid foundation for peace," he said.
Erdogan also emphasized that Turkey is ready to support the establishment of peace in Ukraine in every possible way.
