Kyiv Hopes to End War This Year and Seeks Help from Trump
Kyiv hopes to end the war this year and is seeking assistance from Trump. In an interview with Finnish publication Yle, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated that peace is not only in Kyiv's interest.
“Ukraine is currently the guarantor of security. The way the war ends will affect security in Europe and other regions. This must be understood, and we need to work together to impose peace on Russia,” Sybiha said.
To end the war, he has called on Donald Trump to impose “devastating” sanctions against Russia that would hinder it from “replenishing its military machine and trading with third countries.”
