Russia Claims Ukraine Attacked Their Leading Radio Factory

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that today, 32 drones were shot down over five regions and the annexed Crimea. Residents of Penza reported explosions in the morning. The governor of the region, Oleg Melnychenko, stated that the drones targeted one of the industrial enterprises.

“A fire broke out in the facility's area, which is currently being extinguished,” he noted. Ukrainian media outlets are reporting that the drones attacked the Radio Factory, which is one of the leading enterprises in the field of radio electronics. The factory is part of the ‘Rostec’ holding’s ‘Roselectronics’ company.

In the city of Kotelnich, Volgograd region, a fire erupted following an overnight attack. The Ministry of Defense reported that 11 drones were shot down over the region. Governor Andrey Bocharov described the nighttime attack as “massive,” claiming that its targets were “transport and energy facilities.”
