Zelensky to Seize Large Sums from Russia
Ukraine has several positive rulings from international arbitrations amounting to a total of $6.9 billion. These funds are set to be seized from Russia and Gazprom, announced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.
“We currently have several positive rulings from international arbitrations totaling $6.9 billion. These are absolutely just decisions that demonstrate the responsibility of Russia and Gazprom and affirm the power of international law,” said Zelensky.
The Ukrainian president added that specific steps are being prepared to seize these funds, and starting tomorrow, Ukrainian ambassadors will receive relevant instructions.
