Another 2 Employees of HETC Arrested, Lawyer Says
In addition to Ara Avagyan, two more employees of the Electric Networks of Armenia (HETC) have been arrested based on illegal wiretappings of their conversations, which led to the initiation of the aforementioned criminal case.
“Pressures are being applied to three individuals to coerce them into providing the testimony they want,” lawyer Tigran Hayrapetyan reported.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, law enforcement officials had arrested Ara Avagyan, the chief engineer of the Musaler branch of HETC (serving the Armavir and Aragatsotn regions), and transferred him to the Zeytun investigative division.
