Iran's President on Assassination Plots Against Trump
Iranian authorities have never supported assassination attempts against U.S. President Donald Trump. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, according to TASS.
“These are the insinuations that Netanyahu is trying to convince the American people or the president with, but this does not correspond to reality,” Pezeshkian said.
According to Pezeshkian, such statements are part of the Israeli Prime Minister's attempts “to drag the United States into eternal wars while sowing instability and chaos in the Middle East region.”
It is worth recalling that in July and September 2024, U.S. President Donald Trump became the target of assassination plots. Following these incidents, the politician stated that Iran poses a threat to his life.
