Russian Defense Ministry Issues Statement
Russia has returned another group of servicemen as a result of agreements reached in Istanbul. In exchange, a number of military prisoners from the Armed Forces of Ukraine were handed over, reports the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to TASS.
"According to the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached in Istanbul, another group of Russian servicemen was returned from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. In return, a group of military prisoners from the Armed Forces of Ukraine was transferred," the Russian military department reported.
They specified that the Russian servicemen are currently in Belarus, where they are receiving medical assistance before being transferred to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation.
