Damaged Roofs and Fallen Trees: Emergency Incidents Reported Due to Wind
Emergency incidents have been registered due to strong winds, with the Rescue Service responding accordingly to all cases. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
“Starting from June 14 at 19:30, regional crisis management centers received calls regarding an increase in wind speed in the Aragatsotn, Lori, and Shirak regions, reaching 17-32 m/s. As a result, roofs of residential and administrative buildings have been damaged, trees have fallen, causing damage to parked vehicles nearby, necessitating the assistance of rescuers,” the statement reads.
