Syunik Governor Discusses Reports of Two Minors Getting Lost and Entering Azerbaijani Territory
Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan spoke to reporters about the recent reports regarding two minors getting lost and allegedly entering Azerbaijani territory. “When the news spread, I refrained from making any comments because, yes, there was information that the young people were missing and, from any angle considered, my commentary could not have been a hundred percent reliable. Therefore, I abstained from providing any comments until it was clarified whether the boys had crossed the border or not,” Ghukasyan stated.
In response to a journalist's question about why the National Security Service mentioned the boys' return to Armenia, Ghukasyan replied, “The NSS, in its latest statement, refuted that fact, as information from local self-government bodies, as well as the Ministry of Defense, was being examined and published. Accordingly, I refrained from disclosing any unverified information,” said the Syunik governor.
