Two Underage Residents of Syunik Lost and Found Themselves in Azerbaijani Territory
Two underage residents of Syunik province have lost their way and ended up in Azerbaijani territory. According to received data, on June 6, 2025, at approximately 01:20, residents Karen Armeni Jhangiryan (born June 27, 2007) and Andrey Armeni Gyagunts (born January 13, 2008) from the Tegh community of Syunik province found themselves in Azerbaijani territory due to getting lost in a nearby area of the village of Aravus.
This information has been reported by the National Security Service (NSS).
“All necessary measures are being taken to clarify the whereabouts of the citizens and ensure their safe return,” the statement said.
