France to Open Consulate in Goris
France continues to stand by the displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh and also supports Armenia. This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
“I must emphasize our cooperation in the defense sector, both in terms of staff training and provision of armaments. The goal of all this is to enable Armenia to ensure its defense and sovereignty,” said the French Foreign Minister.
According to him, the relations between Armenia and France have never been as intense and reliable as they are now. Additionally, the French Foreign Minister announced that France will open a consulate in Goris. “This is a very important cooperation between our two countries. It is also a political signal,” said Jean-Noël Barrot.
