Major Accident in Yerevan: Casualty Reported
On May 24, at 06:13, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident at the intersection of Terian and Pushkin streets in Yerevan, where a citizen was reportedly trapped.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles of brand 'Infiniti' and 'Kia' had collided, with the latter overturning.
The rescuers deactivated the 'Infiniti' vehicle and extricated the driver of the 'Kia' from the wreckage. The injured individual was subsequently hospitalized. The driver of the 'Infiniti' received on-site medical assistance from emergency responders.
