Trump: Deal with Iran Could End in Two Ways
US President Donald Trump believes that negotiations surrounding Iran's nuclear program are progressing in the right direction. This was stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt during a press briefing with reporters.
She noted that earlier, Trump had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which they discussed the killing of two employees of the Israeli embassy in Washington. “But they also talked about a possible deal with Iran, which, according to the president, is moving in the right direction,” Levitt stated.
She added, “And as the president told me, and as he told all of you, this deal with Iran could end in two ways. It could end with a very positive diplomatic outcome, or it could lead to a very negative situation for Iran. That’s why the negotiations will take place at the end of this week.”
