Israel Prepares for Quick Strike on Iran, Axios Reports
The Israeli military is preparing to launch a quick strike on Iran's nuclear facilities if negotiations between Washington and Tehran fail, according to the Axios portal citing sources.
It is noted that Israeli military officials believe they will have little time to attack Iran if nuclear talks collapse and are ready to execute a swift strike. However, they have not specified why this window for such an attack might close rapidly.
Discussions about a possible strike have emerged in recent days as Israeli intelligence has begun to doubt the successful outcome of the U.S.-Iran consultations, sources informed the portal.
Moreover, if an attack occurs, it will not be a one-off. Israel is planning to conduct a military campaign lasting at least a week.
