In response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's demands for sanctions against Russia, Donald Trump stated that this decision can only be made by the President of the United States. This is reported by rbc.ru.
"This will be my decision, no one else's. Let's see what Russia does, how they behave," Trump told reporters.
The US leader emphasized that a "critical moment" has been reached regarding the resolution of the Ukraine issue. At the same time, he expressed appreciation for the conversation that took place with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky, and Western leaders.
"I think we had a very good conversation," he said.
