150 Delegations at the Coronation Ceremony of Pope Leon XIV
On May 18, a special and symbolic ceremony took place in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, marking the official beginning of the papacy of the newly elected Pope Leon XIV. The event was attended by over 150 delegations representing various countries and states around the world, including a delegation from the Republic of Armenia led by President Vahagn Khachaturyan.
Among the delegations were also presidents from Italy, Peru, Lebanon, Poland, and other countries, as well as members of royal and princely families, high-ranking officials from the European Union, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
