Medvedev Warns of a 'Horrific War' with Use of New Weapons
Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, has warned political figures attempting to impose ultimatum conditions on Moscow regarding negotiations with Ukraine. He made this statement on the X social network.
“All of Russia’s enemies who present ultimatums regarding the negotiations should remember one simple thing: Peace talks do not always lead to the cessation of hostilities. The failure of negotiations could herald the beginning of a far more horrific phase of the war,” he wrote.
According to Medvedev, this phase could involve the engagement of new parties and the use of 'fundamentally different, devastating weapons.' He did not elaborate on the types of weapons he was referring to.
