Zahharova Criticizes UN Secretary-General
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zahharova, has expressed disagreement with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres regarding his statements about achieving "just peace" in the context of the situation in Ukraine and its connection to international law. The diplomat shared her opinion on her Telegram channel.
“The UN Secretary-General has somewhat violated the cause-and-effect relationship—everything is the opposite. This disruption of international law has led to the inability to maintain territorial integrity and peace in Ukraine,” Zahharova stated.
She also accused the West of violating international law, blaming it for interfering in Ukraine's internal affairs by supporting corruption, nationalism, and the militarization of the country.
