Vance, have conversed with senior officials from India and Pakistan, including Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif, and other officials. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the social media platform X, referencing the agreement for a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
“I am pleased to announce that the governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to start negotiations on a broad range of issues in a neutral location,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that India and Pakistan have officially confirmed the information regarding the ceasefire agreement.
