In this case, Europe and the US will strengthen pressure: Macron warns

If Moscow persists on the issue of a ceasefire, Europe and the US will intensify their pressure. This was written by French President Emmanuel Macron on X.

According to him, the security of all of Europe is at stake in Ukraine. Macron has called for the establishment of a fair and lasting peace, which should begin with a complete and unconditional ceasefire.

“This is a proposal we are making together with the US, and Ukraine accepted it on March 11. Meanwhile, Russia is delaying, imposing conditions, buying time, and continuing its aggressive war. If Moscow insists on blocking negotiations, then we, together with the US, will strengthen our pressure,” he promised.

It is noteworthy that today French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in Ukraine to participate in the ‘Coalition of Volunteers’ meeting. The European leaders were welcomed by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
